Why Save PDF Pages as JPG?
JPG is the most widely supported image format: every phone, chat app, website builder, presentation program and social network accepts it. Converting a PDF page to JPG lets you post a flyer on Instagram, drop a chart into PowerPoint, attach a page preview to an e-mail or upload a certificate to a form that only takes images.
JPG uses lossy compression, which keeps file sizes small – ideal for photos, scanned documents and colorful brochures. For pages with lots of fine text or line art, or if you need a transparent background, PDF to PNG gives you lossless images instead. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so confidential documents are never uploaded.
Frequently Asked Questions about PDF to JPG
Which resolution should I choose?
150 DPI is a good default for screens, e-mails and presentations. Use 300 DPI if you want to print the images or zoom into small details, and 72 DPI for small preview images. Higher resolutions produce larger files.
How do I get the JPG files?
If you convert a single page, the JPG downloads directly. Several pages are packed into one ZIP file with images named page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg and so on.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers or ranges such as “1-3, 5” in the Pages field. Leave it empty to convert the whole document.
Is the JPG quality lower than the original PDF?
JPG compression is lossy, so very fine text can show slight artifacts at low quality settings. Choose “Maximum” quality and 300 DPI for the sharpest result, or convert to PNG for pixel-perfect, lossless images.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are rendered locally in your browser. Your document never leaves your device.
